Sexual intercourse is supposed to be a pleasurable experience for both men and women. However, according to a BBC news report, approximately 7.5% of the women in UK find sex to be painful for them. The study which was conducted by surveying 7,000 sexually active women throughout the country found that 1 in 10 of the women in Britain felt pain when having sex. The reason that the study gave for these findings was that the issue of Dyspareunia might be behind it. Researchers opine that women might be having pain during sex because of vaginal dryness, vaginismus and Chlamydia.
